The Air Force Academy basketball team came to the Thomas and Mack Center here in Las Vegas this week to play the UNLV Rebels.  I went to cover the game for Air Force news.  It was a really good game, but with UNLV coming out on top by a score of 58-51.  Sports photography is one of my passions.  I love covering sporting events.  I have shot everything from NFL games to the NBA All-Star game.  I was even lucky enough to cover the wrestling team trials for the Olympics.  I just like the unpredictability of sports and having to anticipate where the action will come from.  I find it is a lot like weddings that way.  When you are covering a wedding things are usually scripted, but what I am always watching for is that certain moment or emotion that isn’t planned.  Those are the moments everyone will remember and treasure for a lifetime.  Here are just a couple shots from the game.
